Introduction to Windows 11
This course is your opportunity to experience Windows 11 in the controlled environment of our Learning Centre. We will demonstrate the key features and settings.
By the end of the course, you will :
- Understand the key features and settings inside Windows 11.
- Use your increased knowledge and confidence to explore the system further
- Understand the Windows 11 Desktop and the Start Menu
- Know how to customise WIndows 11 to look and feel how you would it to look
- Know how to Search for Apps and Files
- Know the benefits of having a Microsoft Account
- Learn about OneDrive
- Be shown how to get Apps from the Microsoft Apps store
Duration & Cost
2 x 2½ hour sessions
$15 per person (this course is limited to a maximum of 7 members)
What you need to know before attending this course:
- You should already have Windows 11 installed on your home computer or laptop.
- In the 2nd week we will have a detailed look at the suggested settings so if you are using a laptop you are encouraged to bring it along
- You should already be familiar with the basics of the Windows Operating System (prior attendance at our Introduction to Windows Computers Course may be helpful). This course will not cover touch screen usage.
